More than 350 participants came together this past weekend to support CNIB Lake Joe in an unprecedented event.

docking good time was had by all on August 15 as more than 350 participants, including dock hosts, guests, sponsors, donors, and volunteers came together to support CNIB Lake Joe at the 4th annual Lake Joe FUNdraiser event, CNIB Muskoka: Dock-to-Dock: Party with a Purpose.

This year’s CNIB Muskoka event was decidedly different as organizers planned for a reimagined gathering, one that allowed donors and friends to come together in a new way while maintaining social distancing – either virtually or in-person – by hosting their own docktail parties.

Canada’s largest Dock-to-Dock: Party with a Purpose FUNdraiser in support of CNIB Lake Joe takes place Saturday, August 15th, 2020 from 3:00pm-6:00pm

By texting DOCK to 45678 (carrier charges may apply) an automatic donation of $10 will be applied (an automated tax receipt will be texted as a reply) to raise funds for CNIB Lake Joe “Wish List” items and next season’s camp bursaries. The Lake Joe Vision Team and Fundraising Committee invite all Canadians to join Canada’s largest Synchronized, Socially-Distanced, Muskoka Dock Party on August 15th, 2020 from 3-6pm.

Gather your closest friends, make your favourite Docktail, and get ready for a docking good time as we ‘gather’ together to help raise some funds at this year’s socially-distanced, and virtual, CNIB Lake Joe Dock-To-Dock: Party With A Purpose FUNdraiser.

Having to forgo a large scale event due to COVID-19 concerns, Muskoka’s Party of the Year will look a little different; instead of 700+ attendees gathering onsite at the CNIB Lake Joe camp, donors and guests are being invited to host their own micro-Dock Party for what will likely go down in the books as Muskoka’s largest synchronized, socially-distanced, Dock Party.
